Our farm is located along a coastal valley a few miles from the coast. The farm sits on incredibly rich agricultural soil which we tend with great care and reverence. We also manage a small orchard of mix fruit trees. Currently we have 30 acres in active production.
The farm was started in 2005 by life-long friends, Ryan Casey and Ned Conwell, whose shared passion for sustainable agriculture, wild lands, and rural living led them to be fellow farmers. In 2010, Ned moved on to other agricultural pursuits and the farm is now owned and run by Ryan and staff.

The Blue House Farm crew consist of Ryan Casey as Manager, several agriculturally-inspired resident staff, a few dedicated year-round field workers, a few seasonal field workers, a crazy dog, and a lazy cat.

Here are a couple of our favorite photos from around the farm.
Tucked in the rolling hills next to the Santa Cruz mountains, Pescadero is a community of farming and ranching just two miles east of Highway 1 and the Pacific Ocean. Cool summers and mild winters make for comfortable living and great growing conditions.
We farm using organic techniques that care for and sustain healthy soil, encourage plant, insect and wildlife biodiversity and are ecologically sustainable for both the farm and its surrounding open space.
We believe that healthy soil produces a healthy plant and healthy plants are more resistant to problems, better tasting and healthier for the con- sumer. We are certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF).
